Loved the mod but £14.99 is too much.

Will consider purchasing it once it's out of Greenlight and it's cheaper.

15£ is a big ask given how they are not exactly renowned for being speedy workers. If it was complete then that would be another story. Definately some serious effort gone into this game (calling it a mod is a little insulting).

I might buy it when they bother to finish the whole thing, by that point it'll probably looked horribly outdated though, a little bit like what the original looks like by today's standards.

Some of these comments shock me tbh.

The fact that many of you will probably pay £40 on the next Battlefield / Call of Duty and then when a gem like this comes around with hard working modders without a monthly pay check, you don't think the £15 asking is not worthwhile?

I'd only pay £40 for a game i will get a lot of re-playability out of. Like GTAV, already clocked 90 hours and i'm only 50% of the way through with multiplayer hardly touched yet.

£15 for an unfinished, previously free mod of an 18 year old game... I can see why some are not happy to pay it. I'll personally wait for it to be finished. I don't touch 'early access' games.

Quality takes time.. Xen will be released and free so you are getting the full game.

Unlike trash-tier games we see that take elements of their games out at launch just to sell as DLC.

Nope, you're getting a promise of a full game, which is different. I agree it's still better than a deliberately crippled piece of day-one-DLC rubbish, but I wouldn't pay for early access to those either.

I just don't see the point of this anymore. The engine is outdated by today's standards. Almost as much as how the game originally looked when the mod was first started.

Not even finishing the last 4 chapters really is disappointing. The developer even posted Xen is a totally seperate game??????

I would be happy to pay for it.... if I didn't already own it. Feels kinda weird paying for something I was given for free. Especially when its STILL not finished!

I've been playing through this. I made it as far as Surface Tension, but it crashes every time I go through the pipe in the minefield. I'm giving up for now, as I can't be arsed restarting the chapter. The jumping in Apprehension nearly finished me off as it was...
