Black Mirror: Season 7

Ep 1 - Very good
Ep 2 - Started ok but was pretty damn stupid by the end, the ending felt low effort and dumbed down to me.
Ep 3 - Cool concept, feel like it could have gone a more interesting direction at the end but still enjoyable
Ep 4 - Decent but a bit odd
Ep 5 - Brilliant

Not seen the last episode yet

Best season since Season 4 regardless

Edit: Episode 6 was well done but like the first US callister episode it doesn’t really interest me much, feels like black mirror designed for people who think black mirrors too bleak.

Bit of a let down for me, I thought it's possibly the worst season so far as I only enjoyed 3 of the episodes

Ep 1 - Was Ok but predictable outcome from a mile of
Ep 2 - This is more like it, good throughout
Ep 3 - Not my cup of tea
Ep 4 - The best of the this series ( with the best actors)
Ep 5 - Another boring episode
EP 6 - Ok but to long.

Are you retired or something? They only came out yesterday.
 
A decent run! ep3 was probably the weakest of the bunch, much better than the previous season all round.
ep2s ending was a missed opportunity to do something really interesting
 
My mind boggles how people can think episode 2 is the best episode, the ending is an absolute joke. It’s up there with the wearwolf episode for stupidity. Felt lazily written to me, almost as if they couldn’t come up with a good ending so just went “screw it” and put out that slop lol.

And then thinking episode 5 is boring when it’s comfortably one of the deepest episodes and is much more like old black mirror.

Opinions eh

It's literally the most generic but I guess people can "identify with it"

its a starting premise thats been done better so many times.


Its just a modern take on a Genie, literally northing thought provoking about it at all, apart from their wasnt any twists with the wishes

Overall, the show was quite average, with sluggish pacing and drawn-out buildup in most episodes, only to deliver a disappointing conclusion.

Ep 1 - 5/10 ok if rather predictable and didn't need to be an extended episode
Ep 2 - 4/10 could have been so much better but instead they spent 30 mins on the drawn-out setup and rushed everything in the final quarter.
Ep 3 - 4/10 too long and boring
Ep 4 - 5/10 ok
Ep 5 - 2/10 Person reminiscing through old photos, hard pass
EP 6 - 6.5/10 Best of the bunch
 
And here I was thinking this is the best season in a long time. Lots of variation is themes, some really cool visual effects, some gut punches, some fun. I liked the ReDream one the least, as the lead lady couldn't act for toffee, but still liked the concept and visual delivery.
 
I thought the first episode was excellent. Dark as midnight but, as always, scarily plausible (once you get past the brain backup part). There's a crypto site that's basically Dumb Dummies already.
