I'm completely unbiased as I own both ps3 and 360.

360 is the primary platform. DLC is timed exclusive. The main technical issue is that historically the PS3 version doesn't run in native 720p. Instead it is an upscale job.

If I remember correctly there was a boycott/petition regarding refunds for the broken version of Black Ops at launch. I'm sure there was.
 
Anyone got good info on the UK release time via Steam. On the steam commnuity it is estimating about 7.00PM on the Tuesday, has been for a while. Tried a few posts on Steam and BLOPS forums but no good answers. I would have thought it would be midnight Monday like the previous COD steam releases, but it's getting close now and the Steam timer aint changing.
 
Am getting this on both PC and Xbox (Xbox only for the Care package edition to add to my collection :) )

Will do what I usually do with COD games (apart from CODUO).. Play singleplayer and then never touch it again, Ive always liked the story lines but no interest in multiplayer.
 
I've been stung by making a mistake and getting MOH (total flop), so will not be getting this on release and I'm going to be patient for a change. I will see what the general concensus is before taking the plunge.
 
For all its faults I enjoyed MW2 for what it was (on PC) but it could have been so much more. Then they brought out the absurdly overpriced map packs which just made the online P2P system worse. That killed my enthusiasm and I just couldn't be bothered with MW3 or BLOPS.

BFBC2 kept my trigger finger warm for a while (totally different feel of course, but still to some extent a shooter is a shooter).

Since then I've been spending my bang-time with New Vegas and Borderlands 2. Maybe it's time I gave the CoD series another try. Hmm. Will wait for single player reviews I reckon.
 
Not getting this (4/MW1 was the last I bought), but I am casually interested to see if this'll exceed previous sales records yet again...
 
MW3 and Black Ops was a disappointment, but I did enjoy MW2. I'm tempted on the basis that I did enjoy MW2, and also hoping they've improved on things since Black Ops 1. I know it's treyach, so who knows what it will be. World At War was a mixed bag for me. Funny thing is this interests me a little more than MOH:Warfighter. I don't have high expectations though.:p
 
blops was biggest waste of money game ive ever bought (certainly the mp)

they would have to prise the money out of my cold dead hand :eek:


p.s the whole concept looks terribad - horses and pew pew laserz?!

If I was to pre order from OcUK...

1)When would the money be taken from me?

2)Would I get the game before or at least ON the release date?

Yeah, I prefer the old COD anyday, but I did have some fun with World At War, MW1 and 2, the rest was mostly meh. Same goes for the old Medal Of Honour. I'm not a fan of how they can call Warfighter a Medal of Honour game when it is practically BF3 all over again.. Anyway, that's best saved for it's own thread.:p
 
i got mw3 for 18 quid last year. (waste that was) forgot where now sadly.

where do yo think i could pick up BO2 for around £20?
 
I have been watching the live IGN stream and im torn Pc or 360, PC better graphics, free to play but how many will play on PC?
360 more friends on 360 more servers? but will cost more for the game and i will have to re-new my Live Gold as i let it run out as i have been PC gameing.
I'm torn help please. Also cheapest place to download PC version. Also i play BF3 with mmouse and keyboard but will this be the same for this or will most people use pads on pc because aim assist, as i have never played a COD game on PC.

I'm totally disinterested this year. Bought the past four and they just don't push any boundaries or do anything new. It's way past time they reinvented this series.
