Black or Blue

Sorrry for the noob question

Im coming around to the idea of putting a 2.5 drive in its own enclosure.
However is there any point in getting a western dig black over a blue as i would be using usb 2 to power and transfer.

the black comes with a longer warrenty plus twice as much cache for only a little bit extra id go for the black because of this but also if later on you decide to put it inside a machine it will run a bit better than the blue

Its just for a portable drive.
The 5 year warranty is appealing but will the transfer rate be any quicker with usb 2?

Both drives will be limited by the USB interface (30-35MB/s).

The Black is likely to be a bit more noisy as it sacrifices acoustic properties for all-out performance. So go for the Black
