Hi guys have a amd 8350 piledriver rig and I ran 3D mark last night and my system faikd to conolete bench mark now its black screening and get blue screen windows had to shut down

I also had a warning saying 12v rail low or along those lines I only caught quick glimpse of it

My spec is 8350 piledriver 3.4 ghz overclock
Patriot 8 ghz 1600 mhz
Gigabyte 7970 windforce 3ghz slight overclock due to voltage lock
Asus m5a99x evo r2 mobo
Aska cou cooler venom medusa
Corsair 750 watt psu

So my questiin is do you think its 3D mark has ruined my gpu or because of 12v rail warning psu is on way out need help system just wont run under load

One point to add nwver happened before bench mark and the overclock of cpu has had prime for 4 hrs no faults
Any help would be great

Yeah 24 pin cable on mobo that one you mean and my 2 pcie cabkws connected I have spare to in psy box is it worth swapping them? Im tad mythed by this been gaming for kast two weeks no probs now after benchnark priblem has appeared odd one

You should also have a 12v rail which provides power to the CPU. It'll be located on the top left of the motherboard, not far from the CPU itself.

Been long day at work bit slow lol yeah 12v is pkugged in as I say been running fine for bout a month when I buikt it till now no new hardware added just run benchmark and black screen I ran same benchmark before overclocking and it ran fine

If it was fine, you then overclocked it, and then it didnt run fine, it probably means you're overclock is unstable. check you have the latest version of prime and reduce your overclock a bit.

My bad explinatiin ran benchmark at stock settings then at cpu overclock meaning it used to run with my overclock settings.
but last night when I ran it again I got 12v rail warning then black screen so im trying to see if that means psu is on way out
Because I've been running it clocked for a while and it runs haven and prime and akl my games only started last night haven't touch overclock but I will defo have a check try backing it off a tad to see if that helps

Have you disconnected ALL power to the board & re-inserted it? Checking the pins on the PSU cables first.

Could be a bad PSU? Do you know anyone with a PSU tester?
