Blackberry 8900 Issues.

Hello guys.

Recently got a Blackberry 8900 on my new contract and I've been having some issues with it regarding call quality.

I've checked signal strength and it's always pretty much full, but when I make calls, it breaks up really bad, and most of the time you can't hear what the other person is saying.

I called Orange and told them I thought the phone was faulty, so they came out and replaced it with a brand new one but the same thing is happening.

Is it just that the call quality on 8900's is below average?

I have the 8900 and the call quality is fine! Have you called Orange back and told them that you've had the same issue with two handsets?

What about changing location and making a call, does that change anything?
 
When i had the 8900 back in May call quality was spot on...similar to my Bold which is great.

Sounds like it could be a faulty batch they are picking from...also like muttclugg said above try it in a different area...could be the area your in may be suffering from intermittent problems.
 
i've not had any such issues with my 1st and current 8900's on orange. not sure what to suggest really, it definately doesnt happen using a different phone?
