Okay, i really love the look of these phones - and am so tempted to throw away my T-Mobile contract and go for one of these.

I currently have an N95 and send on average around ~500texts per month - my question is, how is the Storm to text on?

And do you miss the lack of wifi? Does it have HSDPA?

I had one of these last month..opened up a new Vodafone contract and got the phone. First impressions were that it was a nice well built phone but then when i charged it up and put the sim in...i found it to be buggy and sluggish which put me off. What further put me off was the touch screen or click screen...its a nice innovative piece of technology but my god it was cumbersome to type on to be quite honest plus the fact that the screen wobbled but according to Blackberry...its meant to do that in order for the screen to click down.

I couldnt after a few days of trying it out get the hang of it so i sent it back...ended up buying an unlocked Blackberry Bold which imo is a much better device for texting as it has the full QWERTY keyboard. I didnt miss the WIFI much as i dont use it all that often...but i probably would have missed it as its handy to have when out and about. Im not too sure if it has HSDPA but it is a 3G phone.

Vodafone give u 14 days in which to try the phone out and if your not happy you can send it back for a refund....so if your really that interested in it...try one out for a week or two and see how it goes.

Such a hard choice at the moment as far as phones go, there are so many on my shortlist i just cant choose, but i really want to get a new toy to play with, haha :)

Even dont mine changing contracts, i'm just worried about the likes of the HTC HD / Omnia etc and their touch screens incase i dont get used to them over a regular keypad ;p

HTC and Storm are at the top of the list for me at the moment, followed closely by the G1 and Omnia, the choices are really stressing me out at the moment, haha!

Exactly the same as my experience, such a shame as it's a lovely looking phone.

Not nice to text on if that's your big thing. The bold in infinitely better for anyone who texts a lot.
