I have the Q-Strap but haven't really used it much, but it is nice to use.



What body/lens were you using?

I don't have any heavy lenses (heaviest is the 30mm) so body and lens only weighs 1kg for me at the most! Hence the reason I got a cheap strap.

But yeah, if I was using anything much heavier, I would invest in a better made strap.

First one died with a Canon 30D and Sigma 17-70mm attached.

Second died with a Canon 5D mkii and Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 attached.

None of the above combos are heavy and neither failure was down to weight on both occasions the gate on the attchment failed in the second case so badly that it just fell out
