Blackwell gpus

It's 1.5k new, unless the 5090 is >2K I can't see the 4090 holding it's value that well.

MLID's latest video claims the 5090 is $2499

Also claims 5080 is 1499 and 5070 is 700

At these prices a $1000 4090 would be cheap because it's probably as fast or faster than the 5080

Last lot of leaks put the 5080 at about 10% ahead of the 4080 (although in some ray tracing workloads it would probably be a bit faster than that).

Which would be a big fat fail in my books but inline with recent years sadly.

If the spec leak is accurate it won't be faster than a 4090 unless its clocking to 3.5ghz.

was that the same leakers that said the 5080 would be 10% ahead of a 4090 last month or their alt accounts? :D

That would just prove the point that it's a 5070.

Saw this too, and would align with something like 4080 vs 3090.

I saw those as a range i.e. $2099 to $2499 and $1099 to $1499, so I expect the larger numbers to be AIBs - nothing like paying $400 for 2% more performance.
