Blackwell gpus

I think I may be tempted to upgrade my 3080 this gen, I play 4k and Varjo VR so tempted by the 5090 to likely be my last long term gpu, or maybe a 5080 as a big improvement. The main thing would be the cost I suspect for me, I could likely afford even a high price and justify over the life of use it's whether I want to I think.
 
I'll only be looking at a 5060ti at most, lower power, so hopefully no whine.

I fully expect it though. Even my ps5 has a small amount of coil whine, I've never ever had a "dead silent I can put my ear up to it and nothing" card that other people say exists.

I had a couple of 4090s that were perfect in that regard (3 of the 8 I'd say).

It's a massive pain but getting on that dosnt sound like a beard trimmer going is worth it. Pointless me having such a good sound setup with that going on in the corner. That being said its the same node and I think they are more aware of the issue now and how to avoid it. Charge me a premium price, I expect a premium product. :)
