Blackwell gpus

What if there is no new tech will use still get one..
If the only new feature is 'This is 50% faster than your 4090' then yeah probably :p

That being said, they could have just told the board partners to not put stuff on the box knowing it'll be leaked. The INNO3D leak had stuff about neural rendering and whatnot so that had to have come from somewhere.

Leak week in full swing

*edit*

Goddamnit
That will be a good 1080p gpu

I'm probably in the minority here but I'm actually quite curious to see how the 5090 will perform in stuff like stable diffusion and other local ai image generation stuff.
Considering the architecture it's based on, quite well I imagine (relatively)

I'd be in the market for a 5080 if it had more than 16Gb of VRAM, but as that's not looking likely and with already having a 16GB card and only being at 1440p, the FOMO should be easier to suppress this time around.

Was different with the 3080 to 4080, my 3080 was a 10gb version so getting 6gb more was interesting to me. But paying out 1200 (or more) for the same amount of VRAM is not looking likely.

He can **** off down to Salford precinct and get himself a cheapo leather jacket. No increase in VRAM, probably no purchase until the prices normalise*

*LOL

Get yourself a 7900xtx mate. That one has 24GB :D

There was a guy on here struggling to sell it for £600. Maybe have a word with him and get yourself a bargain :p

It does make me wonder about the leaks though

The most common "leaked" TDP claim for the 5080 is 400w, significant more than the 4080's 320w

Yet despite the claimed higher power draw, this MSI card is about 1 slot thinner than its 4080 counter part. So if the power draw is up by 80 watts, how did they reduce the card's thickness by 30% right...

A switch now is pointless. I also think those hoping for good second hand prices on higher end 4000 series cards are going to be disappointed, as the new cards are gonna be expensive by the looks of it.

5080 Gaming Trio available to pre-order now! lol.

PS Do not do it!
