I don't have any positive expectations WRT price-to-performance improvements from Nvidia, i.e. not especially excited. So not worth staying up for, IMO. But of course will watch anyway to see what is coming out, straight from the horses mouth. I'll watch after work, drowning the disappointment in some tea.

At least I'll go to bed tomorrow knowing how AMD have let another chance slip, though hopefully they show 9950X3D/9900X3D CPUs too, to make up for it.

Like HWUB said in a recent Q&A, technically we'd be owed better on the lower-end from Nvidia, given the stagnation and poor show from things like the 4060, but I'm betting that will continue with 5000 series and/or get worse.

Fingers crossed for 4080 perf for £500, though I don't expect either AMD or Nvidia will deliver that.

They are too far behind on temporal upscaling/framegen and ray tracing performance for me to consider them, personally
If their next iteration of RDNA actually makes an attempt at hardware FSR and sees competitiveness with nvidia equivalent GPUs for raytracing then sure I'll consider it
