NVIDIA 5000 SERIES

DLSS 4 might work but -50% performance on the 40 series, so you upgrade to a 50 series.
in an interview raja koduri had alluded that nvidia's software and hardware are joined at the hip, so the hardware is often designed keeping in mind the software specs, its likely thats going to be the case with the rtx 50 series as well, some kind of an rtx 50 exclusive framework

imagine if they charged £1200 for the 5090 but then you have to sub to use the software features and end up paying 10's thounsands over the years you have it, will they take a leaf out of nzxt's book????

My money is on whatever this neural rendering gubbins happens to be is 100% going to be locked to the 50 series as it will require the new gibbilyfloop cores that the 40 series doesn't have.
Would be potential for a lawsuit if it is as it was advertised with the 4000 series.

I've had PSUs costing 100 quid that come with a nice canvas bag the psu sits inside and another drawstring canvas bag for the cables.

you buy a graphics card for 1k+ and they are worried about spending 2pence on the ink
I'd rather everything just came in a brown card box with a label on. Who cares about the box.

Nonono see that's just 'neural rendering' the 50 series will have 'NRX Neural Rendering™". Completely different thing :p

Looks like AMD are locking FSR4 to their new cards as well. Walled gardens for everyone!
