What I don't understand is why Nvidia got rid of SLI when apparently the more you buy the more you save. Some people here, not mentioning any times, would buy 4 GPUs if they could SLI it
Sometimes makes me wonder if they are working on a solution to that. Maybe there’s a technology that could supersede SLI which by all accounts is a pretty old tech. The problem was always that they required specific driver support, but what if there was an alternate solution…AI has to be good for something doesn’t it?!
I used to love the aesthetics of SLI/Croasfire.
I still have loads of matched pairs of cards going way back to the 6000 series where it all began.
