I'm quite a fan, but not sure I'd put that at the top, either... It's gotten a bit grandiose.
Bladerunner is exceptionally cool, although DADOES was actually a little tedious and didn't feel grounded in reality so much.

Have you read the books? The series is nothing compared to what happens

Not yet.
It's on the cards, but I'll wait for the series to be complete and get the lot.
But since we're specifically talking BR and not DADOES, I think it an unfair gauge to bring The Expanse books into it too. It'd be like judging Starship Troopers based on the Verhoeven film, which again is excellent on many levels but still nothing like (and barely anything to do with) the book.

Nearly watched 2049 earlier today.......but ended up watching Terminator 2 instead (got side tracked in the Sky movie listings).

Will definately make a point of pulling out the Blu-ray of the original some time this month for a viewing.
