Well ive had memory in there running dual channel @ 1066 working fine

I'll give it a try though.
 
yeah seems odd if it worked before, just a thought, i've got crucial ballistix ram and had all sorts of problems with them a while ago when i first got them, I believe it turned out that increasing the FSB on my mobo caused an automatic increase in vdimm (im on an older asus board), and my ram was getting to much juice, forget what my vdimm is now but you could try setting vdimm lower, start below 2V and see what happens.
 
I've already tried running at 2.1, I just got a memory issue at 800 2.1v now so pushed it to 2.14v to get it stable until next week when I post it.

I haven't overclocked via the FSB anyway.
 
OK here's an update.

Sent the RAM again for RMA, very speedy of ocuk, they received the RMA, checked it, and replaced it for a brand new kit all within 15 minutes!

Got the new kit in my system and all is working great, no memtest errors and no crashes. Perfect! :D
