Hi all,

Have a PC with two SSDs and one traditional HDD in it.

I've just added an extra NVMe drive to the motherboard (gigabyte ab350-gaming 3) and I'm getting blank screen on boot and it's no longer recognising the other two SSDs disks? (only the new NVMe drive and old HDD) - hence blank screen and cursor as my windows install is on one of the SSDs.

Anyone give me a clue what might be happening here?

Checked in BIOS and can't see the old drives appearing - double checked wires and all look fine - not touched them as just installed the NVMe drive.

Was pondering updating the BIOS as last updated 2017, but nothing really in the changelogs that suggests this is a factor.

Any thoughts/clues welcome!

Which SATA ports have you got your SSDs connected to?

According to the manual for your board, installing an M.2 NVME drive will disable the two SATA ports ASATA0/1 - which are the two half way up the board. If you have an NVMe drive, then you can only use the SATA0-3 ports near the bottom.
