Are you sure about that? Honestly, I can squeeze about 5gb MAX on a weekday, after that and I'm down to about 200kB/s.

Yes, 2.3Mb/s from 21:00 to 10:00 and from 15:00 to 16:00 equates to a lot of downloaded stuff. Plus about 8.5Gb during the times when the traffic is managed.

Not everyone is able to time downloads with VM's STM free hours.

True, it is, but it's been around long enough and there's nothing stopping you changing ISP.

Again, very true but it's a case of either work around it, or change ISP and unless you are near a very good exchange, download speeds won't be nearly as fast as Virgin. Unfortunately I'm not near one, so have to make do and as such have built a cheap low wattage download pc to download during the night.
