Blatter is a tool

I don't think that Blatter realises the damage he's doing to the lower league game, it's easy for him to say "if you want to keep your player give him a long contract", but not many L1 and L2 teams can afford to give more than 2 years, only ones like MK Dons and Peterborough who have millionaire backing.

Coupled with the fact that FIFA in their infinite wisdom made agents only able to sign players for up to 2 years at a time, means that lower league players are constantly being pushed to leave on free transfers so the agent can cash in whilst he still has a stake in the player.

The lower leagues are being decimated and all Blatter cares about is helping his buddies screw over United.

Prove it. These are lies unless you can link to reliable articles.

There's plenty around about the controversy at the time when Perez managed to get the City council to rezone the land La Cuidad Deportiva was built on. And it was rezoned before selling, because that gave the land the required value Real needed for selling. Of course theres no concrete proof or articles, or they'd have ended up in jail.

LOL, the fact that the area was considered to be a "green area" and was changed to "area for building" is not a crime under any European Laws. Just check your facts!

The only issue with this whole affair was that the UE thought that 480 million euros mas too much, I still think it is not, it is in the middle of the financial district of Madrid, they have buit (or they are building) 4 skyscrapers that have probably made more money than the 480 (I cant find any figures at the moment).

Here you go a link to a Spanish newspaper where it says that the UE considered the sale LEGAL:

Im not such a huge football fan but I do enjoy watching a decent game of football and I was wondering why Blatter and Platini are so vocally against English football. I wonder if its because English football is the most watched football league in the world and therefore earn the most money from it and subsequently wield the most finacial clout and Fifa know this and hates this as its outside of their control which is why the snipe so much.

Anyone seen this?

Uefa president Michel Platini wants to ban all transfers involving players under 18 years of age to stop Premier League clubs poaching players from academies. (Various)

Of course the land was valuable, once it had been rezoned. Thats where the controversy came from!
