Blazers

I agree, the type of jacket is purely subjective however:

This guy has a well cut, fitted, quality jacket and he can get away with wearing whatever the **** he wants with it.

This guy looks like he's spent 20 quid in topman on a shiny polyester jacket that someone would wear to tiger tiger.

I agree, it's a more youthful look, but if you want to look sharp and refined, then make sure it's fitted, quality and not made purely for the label that's sown onto it.

Wear a WoW t-shirt, a comedy beer-dispensing cap and some oversized jeans you bought from Primark (4 for a tenner!).

There, you've now got the GD look. God speed, you lady slayer.

Get out of my wardrobe!

If you read that, or pretty much anything on the topic from anyone who has a clue (read taste), it will say avoid suit jackets with jeans like the plague...unless you're trying to fob everyone off and pretend its not a suit jacket which is the theme of the above article.

I'd say learn the difference between suit coats, sport coats and blazers and realise that suit coats are for suit trousers. Blazers and sport coats are for jeans/trousers depending on the occasion.
