I guess as the air in the bottle cools it's pressure drops and pulls the puss to the surface? Sounds quite possible, but rather unpleasant. If you try it, take photos :D

I was talking to my grandad about this for some reason (:S) anyhoo he said that if you fill a milk bottle with VERY VERY hot water then pour it out after about 20 seconds and put the mouth of the bottle over the spot area its supposed to pull it out  didnt fancy trying it tbh

Thats how they used to remove boils

stupid suggestions.

but spot threads arent medical are they.

Oh thanks, using a needle on spots is a perfectly safe thing to do.

I'd like to see someone manage to get injured using a needle on a spot.

Don't be so ridiculous.

Who the hell has needles lying around the house anyway? I certainly don't. But if you're gonna put a "needle" or a pin anywhere near the skin, sterilise it with a lighter first ffs - otherwise you'll have more of a problem than just a spot

I find a flannel soaked in hot water and held on the area brings it to the surface, and soothes the pain at the same time.

Do not squeeze it for ages just to bring it to the surface, this just irritates the skin, causes unsightly swelling, more pain and the risk of an internal infection, and scarring when it finally bursts

Heat up a needle (to sterilise it)

And push it into the pimple.

Then try and squeeze or massage the puss out.

I dont think this is a great idea . . . . there are lots of important structures in the neck - nerves, arteries etc etc.

You have been warned . . . .

Theres a variation of that using a bottle and fire, mainly used for boils the downside is that you usually have to smash the bottle to get the damn thing off! Not recommended.

I use a hot needle on them if they look 'right'.

i don't think he means jab it all the way in.

I can't believe anyone would think I meant that :D

All it take is a tiny ***** to pierce the skin so the puss can escape, we're talking the thickness of skin here, which is very thin on a pimple.

I'm a bad man, we'll see hundreds of people dieing from jamming needles into their necks now.

Thers no chance of the Needle idea working because ive tryied it before.

Because the pimple is below the skin you cant actually get to it with a needle. You have to stab all around and you almost bleed to death :p

The big deep ones that are like volcanos on my back i can sink needles into if they apaer because they usually have heads to begin with, i just cant opo them due to thick skin
