well theyve recently given us some diablo 3 updates and divulged some of its features.

so I think that diablo 3 will feature heavily and a release date shouldnt be out of the question.

A release date for Cataclysm looks likely given it is supposedly Q4 2010 and we're getting close. Diablo 3...my money is on late Q2-Q3 2011 but I think they'll stick to updates since last time out and hopefully we'll get some bloody idea of when Heart of the Swarm is meant to be arriving.

All of that, however, seems too much to ask.

Some idea of the IP being used for this new MMO would be nice.

Warcraft, Starcraft, etc.

Wasn't the new MMO supposed to be a completely new IP? Anyhows, will be watching the live stream, and enjoying my deathloc afterwards

I vaguely remember a mention of them making you pay to view the stream for blizzcon. So really all you can do is /facepalm at the morons who pay for it making them think its a good idea and not a complete joke.

Starcraft.... If you look at Warcraft 3 you can see where they have used what could be view as the forerunner to WOW. They have done the same thing with Starcraft II, look around the campaign armoury and things. You will see the basis of their new MMO. Diablo can be ruled out as its to close to WOW in that its all swords and magic.

But the people who buy the stream get the same WoW ingame pet that attendees get and a Murloc marine avatar for SC2.

Don't think I'll be getting it, but I imagine there will be several streams covering different things, speeches, panels, tournies etc. I'll probably just jump between re-streamers on livestream, ustream and justintv as and when they get shut down and come up on another channel

Gotta hand it to them... they really know what to offer to get people to pay up. 2 absolutely worthless items and no doubt plenty of people will fork out for it even if they don't watch the stream just because its something to show off...
