I'd use securing clips on them just to be sure. I've got the fatboy barbs which are similar and haven't had any issues with the tubing moving on the barb unless i start twisting it. It's a very tight fit and should be quite difficult to get the hose on and very difficult to remove without twisting and yanking at it.
