Block paving a drive

My parents house is in a cul-de-sac and in the last 23 years the block paving has been fine.

Just needs doing right I guess.

That looks to have subsided considerably near the rear of the car. I'd guess it is due to cars parking the other way around, with the weight of the engine over the front wheels.

Fair point - I didn't see that. The uneveness still suggest some slip, although if that has held up in that state for over 20 years it has done really well.

My whole drive is block paved and has survived 13 years with just a little sinkage around a drain. The biggest problem for me is continually having to douse the thing in weedkiller, followed by having to brush sand all over it after I've powerwashed it every couple of years. Still, I don't expect it to remain perfect without any king of ongoing maintenance.

It's a drain that my dad usually puts a wheel of his 2ton x-trail on.

Anyway thanks for the advice. Still not got the quote yet though

£4k for the lot. This includes digging down 240mm and 130mm of type 1, installing a drain and soak away and removing the hedge on the left and installing a fence. Hedge is a mess and takes up space !
