Any other subscribers here? Seems returned disks are failing to enter their system and the last disc they claim to have sent out has still not arrived after a week! Tried calling them but get told customer services are not open and opening hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5:30pm. It's just gone 10:30 so they should be open. Not looking good :(

Yes I did and they did email everyone to say everything was running as normal but it doesn't look like it is. I was wondering if everyone is getting the same grief.

Cant offer advise for your situation but other people have reported loosing hundreds of pounds in the last few days from pre orders that will never be fullfiled and money not returned...

does not look good as a whole.

since they sent email out to say it was running as normal was nice of them (not!!) to not bother sending an email out to say the service is now suspended

nothing on their website either

lol nice of them to say its been suspended

I sent some disks 2 weeks back and account not been updated to say they have been returned

same here! I reported them missing as well just before they announced the suspension on twitter!

Got the email from them saying everything is fine, then never received another disc.

Absolutely no mention on the website. You can even still sign up for a rental package!

I got an email yesterday to say a new title was now available to rent that I had on my list. You'd think someone would turn off those servers to save a few precious pennies for the creditors.

I received the same sort of mail, it's pretty shoddy to keep sending out mails to the whole customer base confirming titles are available and announce via a fairly small proportion of people on Twitter that the service is no longer available.

So, does anyone have any alternative suggestions for rental services? Ideally I'd prefer one that provides the games rental service as well.

have you guy's closed your accounts via the blockbuster website or cancelled it via your bank?

I have tried calling/emailing them but no response yet!

Not many left now

boomerangrentals co uk for games.

cinemaparadiso co uk and lovefilm for movie rentals.

+ a few companies that resell lovefilm like tesco and whsmith.
