Blocked access - what can I do?

We rent the garage for our property which only has rear access by way of a communal driveway between two properties. Some idiot insists on parking their vehicle on the driveway, preventing access to a number of properties. I have left numerous polite notices on the windscreen explaining that I am unable to use my garage and that it's a fire safety issue but the car returns time after time.

Any sensible suggestions on how to tacke this? I don't know who the owner is or where they live but I suppose my next move should be talking to them, which means knocking on doors.

What options do I have if they continue to block the access?

Bounce the car up and down whilst gently nudging it.. should be enough to move it outta the way / set off the alarm.

In which case.... run! ;)

It's parked between the two houses with just enough space either side to open a door.

Slide underneath, release handrake, push out into road, call Police about abandoned car in middle of road. :D

Fog

Mmmm! Sadly, I can't tell the difference between a handbrake cable and.......well, another cable!
