Hi guys,

I'm not entirely sure where put this thread in - Mods, please move it as you see fit.

Here's the situation;
I want to block MSN (messenger/windows live e.t.c.) on 1 of 3 systems connecting to my NetGear Router (DG834G).

I have a MacBook and a Windows XP desktop connecting to my router wirelessly and my Xbox360 connecting via an Ethernet cable.

Is there any way I can only block the port(s) for the Desktop to connect onto MSN without affecting both the MacBook and 360's ability to connect on MSN/Live?

Thanks.:)

Blocking MSN is notoriously hard as it changes the ports it uses frequently.

I believe it can also use port 80 and then there is web messenger.

The most effective means of blocking it is blocking access to the MSN servers instead, which we had to do at our work, but I noticed the other day that MSN connects again :/
