Blocking spyware

What is a good util to block spyware from my system, I have spywareblaster, but that doesn't seem to be working.

I use Spy Sweeper by Webroot ,it's good at picking things up . I wasn't sure if if also scans in realtime but I've just checked the program status and it informs me : Shields , ongoing protection ,11 of 11 recommended shields are on, items blocked 18 . Looks like it does .

I've just done a screenshot to show you , but I cannot seem to upload a picture . Oh well.

How is SpywareBlaster not working for you? It works fine for me.

You shouldn't need to block it, if careful? Or is it a case of other people using the system and going on naughty sites?
