Hello, I would like to block social media websites from working across my home internet. This includes computers, laptops, phones etc. I have tried blocking web addresses in the super hub but it doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated, thank you :)

Change the DNS servers to OpenDNS, create a free account and block whatever you would like (pron/p2p/im/sm)

Thank you :)

As far as I can tell though, the SuperHub doesn't allow DNS settings to be changed. I would like it blocked across everything that uses the internet in my house. Would software be needed or the use of a different router?

if you have access to all the machines, then you can manually set the DNS lookup to be opendns on each machine. sorry I can't help with the stupidhub settings as mine is in modem mode with an Asus nt66 between it and everything else

Thank you for the help :)

Its for things like mobile phones and tablets as well, so not sure if I can do that on those. Website blocking on the superhub only works when it feels like it.

Nice router you have :)

Android phones and tablets can be configured with a custom DNS per connection - just Modify/Edit the connection and choose Static instead of DHCP. Give each device a static IP in the range of the router (think SH is 192.168.1.2-254 but may be 192.168.0.2-254...check with what a DHCP device says first!) and set up custom DNS. Make sure all devices are on different IP addresses and Robert is your Mother's Brother :)

Glad to be of help :)
