blotchy display.. it is dead?

Hi all
I have a 34" Dell Curved U3415W IPS LED. I noticed a while back a odd line down the middle of the display but put it down to interference from all the cable down the back.
However, it is getting worse. Half the screen is now noticable brighter than the other.

Is this a return under guarantee job or is there anything that can be done to correct this?

Don't think it's coming through very well on the photo, but I suspect this isn't fixable outside of a Dell service centre. Probably worth contacting and seeing if you can get a replacement, Dell are usually pretty good for that sort of thing

Yeh.. the more I look at it there is a straight line that runs up the middle of the screen.. to the right everything is a different colour and there are blotchy areas. To the left everything is fine.
I have contacted Dell.. fingers crossed
