Blown CPU or mobo?

Mid game of WiC the PC froze and died completely. The monitor turned itself off but the case fans continued to run. I shut the power to the system off and tried to restart it, but I get nothing at all. It won't even post and the monitor stays off. The fans power up but I get no display whatsoever and no beep codes from the mobo

I haven't started messing around trying to troubleshoot yet. Was just wondering what you guys think.

Was your system overclocked?

If it was, reset the BIOS compltely.

Yeah you were right. I've reset the CMOS and I'm back in business. Thanks
My system has been totally stable at it's current clock speeds in everything apart from WiC. I guess it must be hugely taxing.
