If I have ffdshow and haali splitter should I be able to play Blu-Ray disks with WMP (as ffdshow includes h.264 codec)? What about the java bd-j menus?
Or do I need to bite the bullet and buy PowerDVD Ultra in order to watch Blu-Ray films?
Any advice re the best way to play Blu-Ray disks in Vista (64-bit) would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks!

I don't think you can just with FFDShow and WMP (it can't decode DD+ for a start). Another option is Nero Showtime with the BluRay/HDDVD add on but I'm not sure how much that costs compared to PowerDVD.

Sadly there is currently no free Blu-ray decoder out there. The big 3 DVD players, PowerDVD, WinDVD and Nero work fine though :(

Give it time and there will be :)
