Hi,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this.

I am having a problem playing my blu-ray movies off the PC to my TV while my cards are in SLI. It works fine when cards are not SLI'd.

Setup is in spec. TV is a Samsung LE40M8 connect via a DVI -> HDMI cable into HDMI port 2.

Drivers running are the official 169.25 drivers.

So the problem is this, everything works fine on monitor, but when i change over to TV and try to play the movie the PC freezes requiring a restart. Software is Cyberlink Powerdvd (OEM).

I have no problems with the software when i disable SLI, only with SLI.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions as to what may be causing this?

I'm new to the whole connecting to TV and blu-ray thing so not sure where to go from here.

Thanks :)

EDIT: This is all on Vista 64, not tried XP.

Its not dual display I am after. I want a single display on the the TV with the monitor off. The issue is that the Blu-ray software freezes whenever i try to run it through the TV.

Any ideas?

Bluray & HD-DVD does not work with more than 1 output device as this is part of the copy protection system (you also cannot even take a screenshot within PowerDVD for hidef discs either for the same reason).

I may be  here, but are you saying it works fine if you disable SLi, if so then thats what you will have to do all the time, it won't work with SLi enabled as said above, only CrossfireX can do all that as its much better.

I think your confused here, you still have to disable the SLi even if you don't want dual display, as you have 2x screens connected, which you can't have with SLi enabled.
