I had honestly forgotten this was a thing.

Hope they've made it standalone enough it can just be considered a part of Gunn's universe and not be immediately thrown on the trash heap.

I think I'm a little jaded as there seems to be some positive reaction both in here and on most of the YT channels showing the trailer but all i can think is a hard "Meh!" at best, especially as the only "Blue Beetle" is know was The Tick on the Adultswim network.

You aren't the only one, I think a large portion of people are just superhero'd out. Looks ok I guess, bit tropey in places but I just don't care enough to see it either at the cinema or streaming. Something really needs to either grab me these days, or I have to be invested in the IP - I'm neither with DC/Marvel at this moment in time.

But of a weird coincidence that his characters surname is Reyes as it is is Cobra Kai!

Edit it's Diaz on Cobra Kai, not Reyes!

Trailer looks ok, but for me this has the same issue as Shazam 2. As we know all these films/characters will be reset soon, it's hard to get enthusiastic about this one.

Will wait for streaming to watch it, I doubt I'll be the only one....

It’s everything we have seen before. Starkid / Spider-Man / Iron Man.

It’s doubly redundant because is there really any need to see the film having watched the trailer? The whole plot is pretty much laid out from start to finish.

Who could possibly be excited??
