Blue Dragon Official Thread

Much bumpage...
Anyone else trundling through this at the moment?
I've had it for ages now but never had time to sit down at get to grips with it. Started it last night and am really enjoying it, some great looking graphics and what seems like a reasonable storyline so far.
I really want to punch Marumaro in the face though, he has the most annoying voice ever. (On the Japanese audio at least)

Hoping I can get quite far through this by the end of the month.
 
Wow, thats some hefty thread resurrection!

Played through it recently, it's solid enough, but the plot does become a bit generic, and to be fair, I think Marumaru is even worse in english :(

Lost Odyssey is a much better offering from Mistwalker, if a lot longer/longer-winded depending on your PoV.
 
I hadn't played an RPG like this for quite a while, so was just enjoying the whole sit back, cup of tea, no stress gameplay.
Story has me interested enough to keep playing and the bright colours do the rest... It doesn't take much.
