Blue Dragon...

I'm finishing the first disc atm and I must say it's been a bit dull so far, the game is very unchallenging - each fight lasts barely a few seconds and often your characters don't even get hit during a battle. I haven't even been wiped out yet and I'm approaching 20 hours of game time.

Also, the voice acting is awful, absolutely terrible. It's by far and away the worst I've ever heard on a video game, you will most likely spend most of your time playing it wishing Shu/Marumaro would just shut up.

As n3crius said there are a lot of items to collect by searching the scenery, but this ends up getting tiresome and you soon realise that 90% of the items you collect you will never use because the battles are so **** easy.

If I had my £32.99 back I wouldn't spend it on this game.

I didnt mean it like that, I meant that she thinks its fantastic, and she is twelve, so perhaps its more tailored to that age group. I havent played it, but I quite enjoy watching her play it, what I meant is that McDaniel likes things that 12 year old girls like usually, so he probably would like it :D

My apologies. :) It is one of those games which is good to watch someone else play though.

I'm only an hour in but you finished Phantasy Star Universe (as did I) and boy is it a lot better than that.

The battles aren't random ala Enchanted Arms so you can choose to run round and avoid them if you're not in the mood.

So far I'm really enjoying it. It's pretty relaxing with beautiful cut scenes and I'd certainly recommend it.
I finished it because it said 0/1000 for ages and bugged me lol - infact my mate Nick did a fair few levels as it was just awful - but again not turn based.

InwardSinging - i love little girls, not what they like

Played the demo of this today and instantly got flashes of FF7 in my head (which of course is incredibly hard not to what with both Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu both involved in this game.

Quite enjoyed the demo to be honest, it did seem a little easy but at the same time it doesn't look like a game that is going to be stupidly hard.

Very tempted to pick this up tomorrow on my lunch break.
Haven't been overly impressed with MotoGP this year and story mode on Stuntman Ignition is nearly finished after only playing it for a few days.

Bought this on Friday and really enjoying this so far.

Storyline is okay, voice-acting is rather pants though. But the gameplay is great, and some of the ideas that have been implemented into it are really good.

Loving the fact you can choose which monsters to fight, you get suprise/back attacks if you actually attack something from behind.

I like the idea that you can fight multiple monsters in succession or at the same time, and the idea of certain monsters not liking each other and fighting/killing each other is pretty cool too :)

I enjoyed this overall, primarily because it reminded me of ff7. The main thing I found annoying was maromaru who is possibly the single most vomit-inducing character ever to curse a video game with his presence.
