Yes way over budget for him...he is so cheep is not right, but I could MAKE him buy it ;)

We also want him to save up and go socket 939 but he wont bother I can tell...socket A is dead, DEAD I SAY!

Ok mayb I was wrong about cheiftec, but just that I dont like the look of them thats all I was saying, just not my thing.
 
Not my thing anymore either, although great starter class cases.

Socket A is still a very capeable platform, unless he has a 700mhz Duron :p
 
Well this aint a starter case:p that was the value case thats out of shape now after I sat ontop of it when I cut a blow hole into it.

Its an XP I THINK! or some sort of Semprom...got it on a auction so wasnt too sure and its been a while since iv seen the chip with my own eyes. But its a low power chip thats all I know.

But mayb he would get the coolmast depending on the cost.
