Blue Screen Hellllppppp :(

Hi All

Have some random Blue screen happening on my Sony VAIO VGN-SZ71MN.

About 1 week ago it decided to freeze, despite being a reliable good notebook, it happened out of the blue. I just decided on a hard boot and now it seems i get random Blue Screens / Freezes (sometimes with horrible audio sound)

The strange thing is that its not anything particular that causes it? I have also changed the RAM and it still happens?? Not necessary blue screen but just locks up.

I understand that if you note the codes then it will tell you the issue. I managed to grab a snap shot of the codes.
I have been searching on the web but it seems that they don't come up ANYWHERE, even MS Site!!!

Any tech wizz'z out there able to help me out here please??

Codes are:

0x000007F (0x0000000F, 0x85BE2CEF, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

If only it was that simple

Using Windows 7

I have two sticks of 1GB DDRII, Both are fine and run well on their own, just when they are in pairs that it all goes wrong

Soo frustrating!
What makes it worse........Never had an issue for the past few months, just one day it decided to start going wrong

Hmmm, you could try and run memtest on the memory sticks as they could be faulty?

could be a driver issue then matey? Tried reinstalling os?

No, was trying to avoid that but seems it could be my only option......BOOO HOOOO

Its a work laptop and will take me ages to sort it all out !
