Hi,

Need some help. I formatted my SSD on sunday as i was getting the pc freeze at times running some games - Black Ops and random freezing in windows.

The windows 7 pro install went fine until last night when i started to get the BSOD and said memory dumps. The PC would reboot it's self and then be fine for a few minutes and would then BSOD again.

Im not IT or pc wiz kid so im not sure what to do. I did see that removing the memory for 10 minutes from the MB could cure the problem.

Any help will be grateful

Nick

Hi,

It's a OCZ-VERTEX2 3.5 ATA Device (SATA) 120 gig

I got home from work tonight and it did a BSOD again. Windows said it could be a memory issue, so i let windows do it's thing and all was ok. After i removed my memory from MB for 10 mins and replaced. Since then it's ok as im using the pc on this forum.

Not really installed much after the reinstall apart from setpoint from logitech.

The only other thing i can think of is that when i formated my SSD i placed my steam folder and stuff on the other hard drive. I did it as steam told me and the games fire up time.

Maybe ill move the steam folder back to the SSD and see how it goes.

Im a bit stumped here tbh.
