ok thanks a lot for the hep so far, ok so i checked in advanced sleep options and it says turn off hard dis after - 20 mins so i changed to never could this be the cause ? when i download it is on longer than that cause i was coming in and checking,i also changed the sleep setting to never.

In the blue screen view the same one as in the pic is red the one with ntoskrnl.exe what exactly does this mean and should i run some tests ?

also i dont have a clue about the manual or auto ofset on cpu voltages i havnt overclocked and changed any voltages etc ( i am wanting to learn all this as want to over clock after sorted this problem)

Many thanks Dean

ok, so what is best thing to do now ? do i just google and run memtest or do i have to put on disk like u said earlier ? one quick question what is BSOD (blue screen ????)

lol thanks sankly

so is it one hundred percent the RAM at fault ? think i will go for 8gb of ram this time.

what a waste of money buying that RAM , wish i solved problem earlier and could have returned RAM,i need RAM that will defo work with my mobo, why is this ram at fault ?

any ideas
thanks Dean

ok so should i swap the 2 memory sticks around firstly or just remove 1 for now ?

also i still have reciept for my ram u think i should return ?

ok i just removed 1 stick and left the one closest to the cpu in and i will let it run for a while, so if memory will this sort my problem for good hopfully lol

i will leave for a good hour or so running with 1 stick but when it goes red or doesnt should i place pther stick in the slot so swap them over ?

want to sort before 12 as that ram is on offer lol sure it took more than 1 pass to detect last time

not sure if its done 1 pass already as it says pass complete nor errors found ? or does that just mean so far

1st stick passed in slot 0 with 2 passes so i have put next stick on ram in slot 0 and its currently running

ok i have ran both sticks in slot 0 and its done 2 runs each with 0 errors but i think it only found fault at 4th run so should i leave running for longer ?
