hey all! I just got this computer today from overclockers. Everything has been running fine until i started to play borderlands 2.. after 10mins i got a blue screen. Rebooted and before i could do anything i got another blue screen.

I downloaded the program WhoCrashed and it gave me this:

On Tue 25/09/2012 18:41:18 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: Unknown (0x00000000)
Bugcheck code: 0x9C (0x0, 0xFFFFF880009F3B70, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal machine check exception has occurred.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: Unknown .

the second blue screen i got, i could read the message as the computer didnt switch off.

Machine_check_exception
*** STOP 0x0000009C

Any ideas? :/

The machine i bought was:

Titan 8800i Photon" Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.50GHz DDR3 Ivybridge System

With the options:

Intel 330 Series 120GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive
OcUK GeForce GTX 670 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Hey again. Was expecting PC to arrive sometime today but was told it failed testing and will not be ready for shipping till monday-ish. As this is the first time i've bought a whole system from here i'm now a tad nervous. Im sure they would have just replaced the part that failed and not tweaked it or something.
Surprised to hear you are having problems, especially after your first delivery date was cancelled because of a failure during testing. As RJC has advised, get onto Ocuk and let them sort.

Just got another crash:

On Tue 25/09/2012 19:39:08 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: Unknown (0x00000000)
Bugcheck code: 0xA (0x30, 0x2, 0x1, 0xFFFFF80002ACFA6F)
Error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Bug check description: This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: Unknown .

i've posted in the customer service section. Also installing 70 or so window updates, i know borderlands uses netframework and a few of them updates was netframework. As you can tell i have 0 idea and im just praying it fixes it. i guess the problems on saturday was a sign :(

Whatever was preinstalled, i'll give that a go after windows update has finished, Idleman. Although win update did just freeze on me :|

the joys of a new computer!
