Bluetooth audio - equalizer settings..?

So, I recently bought a Belkin Bluetooth adaptor for my desktop machine, followed by a Sony SRS-X3 Bluetooth speaker and Jabra Wireless Move Bluetooth headphones.

Amazing, so impressed

However whilst sounds quality is good via both outputs, there seems no way (despite lots of Windows 7 fiddling) of adjusting of the EQ settings. I have Sound Blaster software installed for my onboard audio, which does change audio for WIRED connections, but not Bluetooth ones.

Anyone got experience of this - is it not possible?

You'll likely need to use a software player that has EQ settings. MusicBee probably will have and Winamp, both are very good and popular choices. There maybe others. Foobar does, which is what I use.

Thanks, will give these a go. Thing is, I'm after the EQ settings for gaming so not sure how I'll get on.

Look into Equalizer APO, not the most user friendly software but it will do exactly what you want.

Damn... Equalizer APO is most certainly not user friendly is it!
