I have 2 computers, in 2 different rooms in the house. One computer is connected to the internet, the other is not. I would like to connect an external hard drive to the internet computer, but also be able to access the data on that drive from the non-internet computer. If I had 3 bluetooth adapters, each plugged into a USB port on the 2 PCs and 1 HDD, would that that work?

You would be much better off using USB network adapters - or PCI ones, if possible.

Get two network card/adapters, install them in both computers, and hook up the drive to which ever computer you want. Just the share the drive, and the other computer will be able to access it over the network.

Besides, bluetooth would be painfully slow for large data transfers.
