I've got the Holux GPSlim 240 and got it for £32.95 or thereabouts, to use with the N95. Great little unit, turn it on, fire up TomTom, phone and receiver connect, stick GPS receiver in glovebox/pocket/corner of dashboard etc and it still tracks, off you go!
The Holux has 3 lights, one to indicate searching/lock of GPS, another showing searching/lock on bluetooth and a third to show it's charging. It should come with a female usb lighter socket jobby, a USB cable for charging and a lanyard, oh and a cd with the pdf manual on it
The time to get a lock is quick, around 15-25 seconds whilst typing this post...and the unit is indoors around 5 feet from the window. Admittedly the unit was switched on in roughly the same area as it was switched off. For cold starts it can be anything from 30 seconds to maybe a minute.
If I had the chance to choose a GPS receiver again, I would go for the Holux, especially at its price point.
