bluetooth headset not recognised

i have a dell xps m1530 and it came with a bluetooth headset but for the life of me i cant get the lappy to pair with them, bluetooth is definately turned on. ive checked in the hardware section on "my hardware", im running vista premium if you need to know, ive tried to download some drivers but they hang on the last 1kb of the file.



any suggestions please?

It sounds like you have not got it in to pair mode.
From off, press the power button keep holding it down for around 15-20 seconds.
1st it will go blue/purple after around 5 secounds of continuing to hold the power button it will start to flash red and blue.


then pair the 2

after they are paired then you can just turn them on normaly
