Parrot MK range is very good, you can choose from a basic one if you like me have a smart phone you use or one with a screen if you also connecting an iPod
Its a no name brand but I'm pretty impressed with it, fairly stragtforward to hook up you mobile phone, and the menu/selection is simple and works. bluetooth seems pretty flawless for streaming audio, or phone calls. (used with an HTC desire).
Cant really comment on sound quality as its fitted to a poverty spec Polo with standard speakers, but it sounds well enough to me.
The only bad thing, is the magnetic DAB antennea - it scratches the roof, could get stolen, and its wired through the windscreen pillar, so you might want to look at something that offers a more descreet DAB antenae, or purchase a seperate one.
I got a Jvc kd-r711 from halfrauds the other day, for 119, checked the site with a mate an it was 90 quid, so i took it back and bought it again
its good the only thing that lets it down is the really crappy mic, but the bluetooth it great, i would recommend it for a very fully equiped headunit
what kinda money was u looking to spend?
I have a very similar Alpine head unit (if not the same one) in my S2000. It works well with my iPhone and conversations are very clear using Bluetooth. It even works with the hood down at in town speeds. Only annoyance is the scroll function when trying to make a call on the go. I still haven't quite got used to mine and seem to be forever scrolling through to get a name. There is probably a quicker way to do it that I haven't figured out yet. Conversations are good though!
I have a Sony bluetooth HU and it's excellent, see no need to get another Parrot, the phone is in it's cradle so can use that to dial/answer etc and use the HU for Handsfree.
