I have a samsung TV that is enabled to connect via Bluetooth devices. All I want, is a way to connect some Bluetooth quality speakers to enjoy better sound quality when watching films. I do not want an unsightly sound bar. I have googled this over and over and it seems a difficult ask. I have sonos speakers, however if I want to connect the play1 speakers to the tv... soundbar.. grrrr!

All I want is two speakers either side of the room - no sound bar.

Any help much appreciated.

You might get lipsync issues due to bluetooth lag. Bluetooth headphones generally support low latency codecs to prevent this, but Bluetooth speakers may not.

Use a cable like hornetstinger says. Most TVs have an optical out, you could connect via that.

Thank you for the speedy reply. Are BT speakers really that bad? OK, so I need look at hard wiring. The issue I am trying to get around seems the only answer then. The TV is on the wall with all the tech stored in a recess behind it. I am trying to see if there was some wireless solution so I didn't have to look at wires, chase walls or have a soundbar.

Thanks again tho.
