Is it possible connect a mobile phone bluetooth headset to a PC with a bluetooth USB dongle, so that I can use teamspeak? I want to play online and use just the mic for talking and all other sound coming from my speakers.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work. I believe that the newer the headset the more likely it is to be PC compatible. Which headset is it?

Thanks for the reply Alex UK. :) Its an Opticom BT20S bluetooth headset. I have an Audigy 2 sound card, a USB bluetooth dongle and Teamspeak 2.

I can get the dongle to pick up the headset, I just need to figure out the rest.

Okay I got it working but the bluetooth headset picks up a lot of interference. Can any one else recommend a decent bluetooth headset?

Logitech do some decent Bluetooth headsets, have a look here.

Using speakers+talking in teamspeak + playing games with sounds on = People in teamspeak have no clue what you are trying to tell them

That's exactly what I've been doing since I bought my HBH-662 two years ago, wireless all the way! My Bluetooth dongle is pretty old, a DBT-120 (at the time, people raved that the Widcomm BT stack used in the drivers was excellent). Quality is good, no interference, and clear.

With the mic so close to your gob (I used to use my webcam mike) it sounds ok to the other players, although as alluded to by Bloodlust headphones are best to use for clarity.

I loved the built in voice chat on UT2004, it auto-squelched the sound on the push to talk button. Do any voice chat clients do that?

Only if you dont take the time to set your activation levels and other volumes.
