Has wigan been done, will it come under preston.

Knowsley,
Liverpool,
Preston
tba

Preston has been removed from the evenfaster page, only Knowsley and Liverpool remain. It's not looking very promising for the tba areas for rollout completion in November. :(

Im moving soon....will this mean I will be pushed out of the line of people waiting for 10mb or will I be able to get 10mb straight away once blueyonder is installed in my new house?

Plus do i have to pay installation fees again? Are there any good money saving offers I can take advantage of?

its done by area,

so if you move to an area with it already done, you will get it automatically. if you move to an area without the upgrade (few left now, d'oh) then should just get the upgrade when the area does

Bristol - UBR04 (iirc) - Internet was down for a bit this morning and is now back on and muchos faster!

Well the page has been updated again saying Bristol is "End November 2005" and all the "Some service disruption may occur between these dates" are now complete.

I'm also in the Bristol area, but have noticed no speed changes. Try running a speed test like this... http://specials.zdnet.co.uk/misc/band-test/speedtest.html

If you want to know for sure, phone up Broadband Tech support and ask them to check what your modem is getting. I did when I got told (by another Blueyonder member of staff) I was already upgraded to 4mb but obviously wasn’t getting the speeds. Basically what the guy told me is my account said 4mb but my modem was getting 1Mb speeds. He said this likely means that my area (Near Bristol) has likely been upgraded but the new speeds haven't been turned on.

I hate you all. The required network maintenance has been done for over a week in knowlsey, but still no news on when we will get the update.

Extreme :D 1200k per sec whoohoo

I wondered why I had a ping of 7 last night playing hl2dm didn't think to check the bandwidth until now (keeping an eye on this thread)

In work at the mo, but my brother phoned (also Bristol) and said he's been upgraded to 4meg & that if I turn my modem off & on when I get home, I should pick up the upgrade.
