Bluray in 360

I personally own zero blu ray films, but then I guess I find it hard to want them when HD content can be found in different way.

I think if MS do want to add it in they should release an add on drive again, just the same as the last one.

I dont think Blu ray will take off for quite a while yet, DVD films are dirt cheap at the moment and most people have not made the jump the HDTV. When Blu Ray goes pretty much mainstream then we will most likely see an addon drive popping up.

I don't think blueray will EVER be as popular as DVD. The improvement just aren't that big, nothing like the VHS-DVD switch which was a no-brainer and not that expensive.

Anyway - I think the time is limited for physical media, within a decade I think most video content distribution will be electronic rather than physical.

I agree, with BD-LIVE they are already paving the way for electronic distribution of video material. Blu-ray Disc could possibly the last optical format we see.
